1. What is the Caribbean Business Club?
The Caribbean Business Club is a regional business initiative spearheaded by Jamaica Trade and Invest (Jamaica Promotions Corporation), Jamaica’s trade and investment promotion agency, and the National Development Corporation (NDC) of St. Lucia, as part of each country’s national Legacy Strategy to capitalise on the potential medium to long-term benefits to be derived as hosts of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 West Indies. The Club has members from all across the globe, and is the perfect vehicle for entrepreneurs ready to team up with global partners and tap into the Caribbean's wealth of business possibilities.
2. How can I benefit? What are the services offered?

- Access to a wide range of regional and international business contacts through the online business matching feature
- Personalised business matching
- Your profile on the Caribbean Business Club website

3. Do you have to be from a registered or large organisation to join?
Membership is not only limited to individuals from registered or well-established organisations. The Club also welcomes entrepreneurs and individuals from start-up companies.
4. Is there a cost for membership?
Currently, membership is free until April 2007.
When registering for Caribbean Business Club, members are requested to fill in relevant company and sector information. Once they have done so, persons logged onto the website can utilise the Business Matching feature to search by region and/or sector of interest to them.
Upon specifying the criteria, members will receive a listing of relevant companies with profiles and contact details. Members may then contact these companies directly, or contact a Member Services Officer at Caribbean Business Club to liaise with the company on their behalf.
6. Can my company advertise on your website?
Unfortunately at this time, member companies cannot advertise on our website.
7. What kind of events are organised by the Club?
The Club hosts targeted networking events designed to bring together business persons and create business connections.
8. What are "Endorsed" events?
Endorsed events are events that the Club is not directly involved in, but that we believe will still bring value to our members.
9. Have there been any successes for members?
To date, several members have expressed their appreciation for benefits received from the Club. Visit Member Success Stories to view or add a testimonial.
10. Is Caribbean Business Club a non profit organisation?
Yes. The Club does not charge for membership, and simply facilitates networking between business professionals by providing the business matching service, access to information about doing business in the region, and hosting networking events. We are able to do so through sponsorships and strategic business partnerships.
